here's what's going on with Flipp....The members of Flipp Kilo,Chia,Freaky
and myself are taking on some new projects and let me tell ya it's
all good, Chia as well as being the worst guitar player in the world
is also a great independent artist and is putting his efforts into
his artwork ,he has showings all over the world right now, check out

Freaky is writing songs in his home studio as well as using studios
around town and is playing all the instruments pretty much him self
(fucking cool),I'm sure there will be a lot of cool music to be heard
there..(mmm I wonder if he recorded the jet pack ?) .Kilo has a full
production rehearsal facility and he has just rebuilt the recording
studio, and has been producing and helping other bands put the cock
in there rock !.I manage a band called "The Fuck Ups" that
Capitol Records has signed on and I am as I type this taking a break
from producing there debut record that will be out in april I believe,
They are also getting ready to go out on the warped tour.So as you
can see rock and roll is alive and well in the flipp camp..We are
as you might say recharging the batteries so when Flipp comes out
with something new it will be full on.

have a new bass player..we were recording a new song called "the
last man standing" and Craig Montoya from Everclear was in town
so he came down and hung out and ended up singing with us on some
background vocals..it was a blast...I am also working with Craig on
a solo record so get ready to rock out... his stuff is fucking awesome....

1. My question isn't about the band, its concerning your health. I
saw at the Medina show you were still popping suckers and I know its
been a while but I wanted to see if you were 100% or if they figured
out what was wrong.
2. Do chickens fall asleep when parachuting? (kind of a fun one if
you remember Owatonna at all) oh and I know you're recording with
the fuck ups, say hi to the boys for me. I told Chris I would hang
out but I think we've both been too busy.
BRYNN: Yeah I got very sick and was hospitalized
for a week with some strange ass virus the doctors couldn't find.I
had a temp of 104 for 5 days and it sucked, so I quite smoking and
tried to watch my health so I could keep on rocking,Chris is my favorite
guitar player in the world right now....

I was one of the 5 attendees at the last Dallas show (possibly the
most vocal, as well). Anyway, after the turnout in D-town, will the
band still tour there? When is the next tour? And, lastly, is the
3rd album in the works?
BRYNN: It's hard to say...I have written
a ton of new material and have plenty to choose from for another record
so we'll wait and see what happens...

My first question is: How come Flipp plays so infrequently in the
Cities? Your shows are the best and it'd be great to see you more

BRYNN: Hey Jay good question..A tour
never developed after the record company failed to promote the release
of 'I Still Love Rock N Roll.... it really is a shame because I feel
it could have been a hit. Oh well what can ya do but turn the guitar
up louder and blast away the shit...As far as playing the twin cities
more often we really try to keep things fresh and interesting so to
play here even every month would be tough to do as our high standard
for live performing is very important to us...thanks for the good
