FLIPP
The Scoop

This Minneapolis-based hard rock band was formed by lead singer/ guitarist/ instigator Brynn Arens and drummer Kilo Bale, in the mid-1990’s after shooting a video for their cover of the Who’s “My Generation.” After the tremendous success of the video, Brynn enlisted his brother Chia Karaoke Arens (a multi-talented instrumentalist who literally plays just about anything he can get his hands on) and mohawked bassist/space cadet Freaky Useless (a St. Cloud native who used to play in the local band Freak) to finalize the band lineup and hit the road in the successful pursuit of a record deal and an ever-growing fan base.

In the last several years, Flipp has toured the country opening for national acts like Cheap Trick and Everclear, released several independent albums, and generally incited mayhem and chaos whenever possible. Flipp is currently on tour in support of their latest release Volume, an album co-produced by Brynn and Everclear frontman Art Alexakis that is chock-full with the same type of energetic, catchy guitar-driven songs that fans have come to expect from the bands previous albums and live performances. If you’re looking for a good old-fashioned rock and roll bash, check out Flipp in concert-you simply can’t go away unhappy after their shows!
