Ok, to start this off, I had only seen Flipp once before last night, at last year's Teenage Rampage. The lineup was great then, Purple Monkey Dishwasher, 2 Ton Crutch, AHC, and of course Flipp. The only downside was 3 Minute Hero. But I'm not going to go into that.

So last night was interesting. I guess that was how you could describe it. I missed Maxximun Kapacity (I hope I spelled their name right) but walked in just before Sunset Black came on, I had seen them before, but they
[seem] to have gotten a lot better since then. Then With. came on. I had seen
them when they came up to Superior (I live in Duluth) and wasn't impressed,
but they also did really well. Its great to see them coming up. Then the night turned bad.... Faux Jean took the stage... I am not going to be too bitchy here, but let's just say they weren't my cup of tea, and from the shouts of the people sitting near me, they didn't enjoy them a whole lot either.

But of course, then there was Flipp! I didn't really know the words to their
songs or anything, but it didn't seem to make it any less enjoyable. I was
standing at about the third row back, in front of Chia. And immediately as
they took the stage I was forced to jump. If I tried to stop I wouldn't have
been able too, so I didn't try, I was having a great time! It's amazing how
much energy the exude while on stage, absolutely great and mesmerizing. And if they somehow got boring to someone, they could just look at the steady stream of fans that found their way on stage. Many concerts I have been to have not been nearly that loose with letting kids up. I screamed and yelled more then I have in a while, and right here I'd like to apologize to the girl
in front of me, I think it hurt her ears a bit, but she said it was ok. Anyway back to Flipp. They were great what else can I say about it? No downside or lull in the excitement from when they took they stage and on. Now I can't until X-fest. I missed them last year there.
