It's not really a Flipp concert until someone falls on your head. My friend and I have been to our share fair of concerts, and never once have we made it without someone falling on our heads. It only took 2 songs this time.

In a dismal x-fest lineup, Flipp was (of course) the highlight. My friend and I were just hanging around, watching a terrible band named Snot or something equally intimidating. It was rainy out and cold as hell. We were there only to see Flipp. After about 3 more bands named Snot, Goldfinger came on. They're pretty good, and entertained us for the meantime (as did a middle aged man dancing with his obese wife). After that, Machinehead came on the stage. Holy shit, they suck. Not only do they suck, they got a 7 hour set or some shit like that. Song after fucking song! They finally get off stage, and Flipp was about to come on.

We had made our way as close to the stage as possible when Machinehead started their tour de suck. It got pretty damn crowded, and a guy with one arm was starting to make me claustrophobic. I forgot all about him and everyone else when Flipp barged on to the stage. I don't remember what the first song was becuase I was getting my ass kicked by the one armed man. The second song was Bleed, and everyone was singing along and trying their best to kill me. The next song might have been Hairdo, but I'm not sure. This was when the guy fell on my head. I got forced back a ways, but I could still see Brynn.

After that, they played I Wish I Was a Planet. I was the only one in the immediate area that was sober enough to sing along, but a couple of people drenched in mud tryed singing the "drunken irish-man" version. When that ended, Brynn talked a while and then they played my favorite song, Times of My Life. Brynn came in to the crowd, close to me, and made the song about 5 minutes longer than it usually is.

One lucky Flipphead got to go on stage, until she was beat by some pillows and feathers flew everywhere. "Thanks for having us!" Brynn yelled to screaming audience members. That's one fucking complete Flipp concert.

A couple hours later, Staind got on stage, looked around, and said "Looks like somebody fucked a chicken up here." Eh, he was close enough.
